The inlaid grains are differently pronounced and so each grain squeeze in this edition is unique! Some pieces of wood have stronger, others less distinct colours and grains. The wood we use comes from certified sustainable local forests.<\/p>\n
We use specially manufactured knurled nuts made of stainless steel as locking screws, which give the grain crusher additional elegance.<\/p>\n
Freshly crushed grain contains all the vital substances of the whole grain and thus forms the basis for a healthy, modern diet. The grain is gently broken down by the crushing process and the valuable germ oils, carriers of vital substances and enzymes, remain intact. Flake-based treats are chewed more thoroughly than flour products and stimulate intestinal peristalsis far more than ground grain. Flakes are therefore also known as the “toothbrush of the gut”. The consistency of the flakes makes them pleasant to chew and gives them a special flavour.<\/p>\n
