Arabella grain mill made from solid lime wood
The Arabella is designed and constructed for private domestic use. The appliance is designed for grinding dry grains such as wheat, buckwheat, barley, rye, millet, brown rice, chickpeas, sweetcorn, soya beans, etc. It produces wholemeal flour of varying fineness, depending on the degree of grinding set.
If you want to grind grains that are smaller than wheat, such as millet, quinoa or buckwheat, allow them to trickle slowly into the hopper to avoid clogging.
The grinder cannot be used to grind oily seeds or grains such as sesame, almonds, sunflower, pumpkin, poppy, linseed or other seeds/grains, including coffee beans, as these grains and seeds have a high oil content and would clog the pores of the grinding stones.
