FAQ
What thickness settings are available?
The thickness settings for the compact 30cm dough sheeter are: 17.5 mm, 15 mm, 12.5 mm, 10 mm, 7.5 mm, 5 mm, 4 mm, 3 mm, 2 mm, 1 mm.
What types of dough can I roll out with the dough sheeter?
Dough sheeters are most commonly used for laminated doughs such as croissants, Danish and puff pastry. However, it can also be used for many other types of dough, such as biscuit dough, pâte sucrée, pâte brisée, cracker dough and even fondant and flower paste.
How much space do I need for the compact 30cm dough sheeter?
When the machine is assembled, it measures approximately 82.5 cm L x 41 cm W x 20 cm H. Additional space is required on both sides for the rolling board to move. When the board is fully extended to one side, an additional 15 cm of space is required.
How much dough does the compact 30cm dough sheeter hold?
The amount of dough depends on the final dimensions and thickness of your dough. The determining factor is the size of the sheeting board. The board is 70 cm long x 30 cm wide. In our experience, a batch of croissant dough made with 300g of flour is close to the maximum capacity (with the butter block and dough block together about 675g in total).
Can the roll-out board be folded up for storage?
The roll-out boards cannot be folded for storage. However, the boards are slim, lightweight and easy to store when not in use.
